The 50th anniversary of the wed-ding of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hostetler was celebrated at their residence in Wills township on September 10, 1904. Among those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Drollinger of Wichita, Kansas, Mr. and Mrs. Jared Drollinger and family, Mr. and Mrs. Quinby Drollinger and family, Mr. and Mrs. William Miller, Mr. and Mrs. George Dawson, Mr. and Mrs. John Hostetler and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Hostetler and family, Mrs. J. A. Drollinger, Mrs. Mary Clark and family, David Hostetler, Miss Matilda Hostetler, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Dawson and son, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Wiltfong, Mrs. Jane Bunton, Mr. and Mrs. George Drollinger and family, and Mr. and Mrs. G. P. Tennis, all of whom are residents of LaPorte county. Henry Hostetler, Mr. and Mrs. Hurton Proud, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hostetler of St. Joseph county were also present.At the noon hour a sumptuous dinner was served, which was followed by a number of well-rendered pieces on the phonograph. Miss Mary Drollinger entertained the gathering with some very charming music on the piano. Conversation was the main order of the day. The gathering broke up at a late hour, and extended to Mr. and Mrs. Hostetler their best wishes, expressing their gratitude by the bestowal of numerous gifts. •
