Dennis BasgallSCOTT CITY — Dennis Basgall, 59. died Monday, Sept. 2, 2002, at his home in Las Vegas.He was born April 14,1943, at Colby, the son of Adolph and Josephine Pfeifer Basgall.A Las Vegas resident for 14 years, moving from Wichita, he was an operating engineer. He belonged to St. Joseph Catholic Church.Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Ashmore; a grandson; and four sisters, Joyce Schaffer, Brawley, Calif., Delores Gentry Bossier, La., Norma Steffens. Imperial Valley Calif., and Donna Wright, Scott CityA memorial service was 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Scott City with the Rev. David Kraus officiating. Inurnment was in Scott County Cemetery Scott CityMemorials are suggested for Masses at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in care of Price Sons Funeral Home, Scott City.
