A dinner and reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Smeal, 40 Shaffer St., Sykesville, Sunday, Sept. 9 in ob servance of their 05thwedding anniversary.Mr. and Mrs. Smeal were married in Sykesville Sept. 12, 1908.Before his retirement, Mr. Smeal was employed by the Rochester and Pittsburgh Coal Co. and the B 0Railroad.Among those attending the affair were the couple's children:Theodore Smeal, Dorothy Smeal, Mrs. Walter Sch wabenbauer, Dolly Smeal. and Mrs. Joe W. Stormer, allof St. Marys. Also, Pauline Smeal and Mrs. Ross Alexander of DuBois and Frank Smeal of New YorkCity.
