Miss Maitha E. Shields, passed away at Lhc home of her sister-in-law. G07 South Eighth street, Saturday at 1:40 a. tn.She was born al Shandou, June 13, 1849, and at lhc time q[ her death hod passed her BOlh year.She taught schools in the surrounding: districts for quite a number of years. A kind, Christian woman, member of the First Presbyterian church here, she was held in high esteem among tier many friends. She leaves to mourn her death a biother, Marshall, and his wife of Cincinnati; a sisler in-law, Mrs. Rose Shields, and a nephew, Horace.The funeral will be liekl at the home. 607 South ElghMi strict, at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon.Interment will he in Greenwood cemetery.
