SILVER ANNIVERSARY—Mr and Mrs Karl Magoon, Wever RFD 1. Sunday celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with open house. Hosts were the couple’s children. Mrs. Dick (Barbara) Smith of Bloomfield. Mrs. Robert (Nancyi Harker of Sherrard, 111., and Capt. Gerald Magoon of San Antonio. Assisting were Mrs. Gerald Magoon. Mrs. Robert Schroeder. sr.. and Mrs. Danny Dingus. The Magoons were married Sept. 18. 1945, in Kansas City. Kan. She is the former Madeline Notestein of Keokuk. He is a Santa Fe Railroad locomotive engineer. There are 14 grandchildren.
