eration ot womens clubs, win hold a Work and Play Day on Friday, Sept. 28, at Ridge Park field house, 96th and Longwood dr., starting at 10:30 o’clock.The morning session will consist of Round Table for all departments and standing committees, also a presidents’ round table that will include secretaries and treasurers. At this meeting the work of the district will be outlined for the coming year. All presidents and chairman are especially urged to attend.The Chicago Lawn and the Chicago Lawn Young Woman’s clubs will act as hostesses during the luncheon .lour, bring a sandwich, coffee and doughnuts may be purchased.Mrs. Clarence G. Goodwin, 4646 S. Woodlawn ave., former president, I.F.W.C. and present StateParliamentarian; will conduct a 30 minute Seminar.Joan Adler, 14 year old student of Thornton Township high school, will entertain with her piano selections. The District’s Juniors will present a play.The guests will be Mrs. Warren H. Lutton, 7825 Cornell avo., and Mrs. Ivan Henderson, 7747 Constance ave., the president and vice-president of the Second District, I.F.W.C.ANNIVERSARYMr. and Mrs. Christ Schulz. Jr., and 128th and Vermont sts., entertained friends and relatives at the Broadway Gardens, on Sept. 9, in honor of their 25th wedding anniversary.They received many beautiful gifts and a shower of silver dollars and a service for eight of goblets, sherbets and wine glasses.The evening was enjoyed with a mock wedding and dancing to the strains of an orchestra.
