SewardCHILDREN HONOR FAR ENTS AT SILVER ANNIVERSARYMr. and Mrs. Gill Geiler were honored by their children at a silver anniversary celebration held September 14 in Ridgeville Centennial Hall.Bill and Erna (Broszeit) were married at Emerson Lutheran Church on September 25, 1943 by Rev. Clausen Mohr. Attendants were her sister Agnes Broszeit, and Gordon Goetz and both attended the silver anniversary.The Geilers have resided on their farm seven miles southeast of Ridgeville since their marriage. Their union has been blessed with four daughters, Margaret, (Mrs. Dennis Sch-wark), Linda, (Mrs. George Hil-debrant), both of Winnipeg; Sharon and Adeline, at home; and one son David. There are two grandchildren, Michael and Raymond.Over 200 attended and enjoyed record dancing by Mr. Music man. Ted Steg presented a silver tea-service and tray in the grape pattern on behalf of the assembled guests.Out of town guests were from Tolstoi, Woodmore, Emerson, Niverville, Pembina, Brandon and Winnipeg.Close family members attending the Geiler anniversary included Mrs. Henry Shroeder of Pembina, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Geiler of Brandon, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Ronson and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Geiler ofWinnipeg, Mrs. Broszeit of Emerson, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Broszeit, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Broszeit and Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Hoffman, all of Winnipeg.
