aiz, riacemue.WVFD installs emergency linesWILLOW — Willow Volunteer firemen began work on the installation of a phone line from the Willow fire house of the Grizzly Mat road to the nearby homes of fire chief Gale Wilson and Jack Haseley. The line will be used in emergencies to activate the recently installed siren on the fire house. The volunteers working on the project Sunday included Louie Karabinus Jr., Gale Wilson, Jack Haseley and Fay Mooney.Other work plans for the department include general truck maintenance and improvement for both the fire truck and the squad truck, recently put into service.The work plans were made at the regular meeting of the department, held Tuesday at the Willow school.
