Gold in the Red River Country.—That great country hitherto so little known is being invested with fresh interest. To all its other attractions that of the extensive existence of gold is now added. It has been discovered at Fort Ellice on the Assiniboinc, and also on branches of the Qu’Appelle river, streams which unite and run into the Rod River and have no connection with the Rocky Mohhtnin Range. It has also been foiihil iii the Saskatchewan and other streams » taking their fisc in the Rocky Mountains.
