Mr. and Mrs. Merrick RowlandROWLAND60TH ANNIVERSARYMr. and Mrs. Merrick Rowland of Norwalk celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 13, 2000.The couple was married Sept. 13,1940, in Berlin Heights by the Rev. Hollis Greene.Mr. and Mrs. Rowland are the parents of Betty Campbell of Wakeman, Judy Readman of Albany, Ohio and Linda Johns of Norwalk. They have seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.Mr. Rowland retired from New Departure-Hyatt after 30 years of service and Mrs. Rowland, the former Esther Lucille Kuhl of Berlin Heights, worked at the Collins Post Office 20 years before retiring. The couple lived in Collins until July, 2000, when they moved to Norwalk. They also celebrated their anniversary Sept. 3, with a family brunch at Sawmill Creek in Huron.
