Norman W. LearNorman W. Lear of Doylestown died Wednesday at Doylestown Hospital He was 94.Born in Wismer, he was the son of the late Asher R. and Caroline Hayes Lear.He was the husband of Edna Dietz Lear He attended school in Plumstead Township, Doylestown High School and Pierce Business School in Philadelphia For many years he worked with his father in the creamery business m Bucks County.Mr. Lear was employed as a chauffeur for 17 years by William and Martha Mercer of Aldie, DoylestownHe was the oldest living member of th» Toyles-town Presbyterian Church, having joined the church in 1909.He was a life member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge in Doylestown.In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert W. of Doylestown, one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Lear of West Chester, and six grand children. He was preceded m death by a daughter, Ruth Lear Bollinger A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 182 W Court St., Doylestown.Memorial contributions may be made to Dovlestown Hosnital.
