Knight, and Whereas, In this bereavement tve ; have lost one endeared to us by long association, in which we came to know him as a friend and as a comrade, kind, obliging, kind-hearted,| and in every respect without fear ' and without reproach, therefore I Re it resolved, That his death unites ; us in‘grief which can be but faintly I outlined in words, and that wo ex-j tend 'to his relatives and to his family,; our heart-felt sympathy in their greatloss.luosolvcd.
