Wtw IvJ V v» » II AXL/VA UiiliU »»» ■»Bernhard Sattler Couplel-*r-yc-Mark Golden AnniversaryThe 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Bernhard Satfc-ler, R. 1, Malone, was celebrated when their children hosted an open house and dinner in their honor at Club Harbor, Pipe.Monetary gifts, flowers and several other remembrances were received from the large number of guests who were present from Fond du Lac, Van-dyne, Cudahy, Milwaukee, Chilton, New Holstein, and Forrest Junction.White tapers in golden candlesticks were part of the table decorations, which included an appropriately trimmed cake made by Mrs. Milan Gasch.March 3, 1894, is the date on which the former Meta Schuss--man was born to the late Mr.and Mrs. William Schussman at Garnet. Mr. Sattler Is the son of Mrs. Mary Iverson, Maple Manor Nursing Home, and the late Julius Sattler. He was born Dec. 15, 1893.Marriage of the couple was performed Sept. 12, 1916, by the Rev. Emil Koilalh at St. Paul’s Church, Malone. One of the original attendants, Rudolph Sattler, was present for the golden anniversary event.Farming and carpentry have provided a livelihood for Mr. Sattler. He and his wife are members of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Malone. The former served as president of the congregation for a two-year period, and was superintendentof the Sunday School for many years. He at one time was clerkof School District One in TownBrothertown.Their two sons and two daughters are Howard Sattler, Calu-metville, Donald Sattler and Mrs. Milan (June) Gasch, both of Brothertown; and Mrs. Arno (Mildred) Jensen, Garnet.
