A COUNTY FIRST — Ground; breaking, ceremonies were held for -the Laura Donovan School to be constructed by the Freehold Township Board of Education at Shonehurst \ Blvd. and Derby Dr. The school will be the first electrically heated, fully, air-conditioned school in Monmouth County, said the school boat'd. At the ceremonies were, left to right, Marshall W. Errickson, superintendent of schools; Peter J, Saker, general contractor; Hugh Oakley, board president; Mrs. Laura Donovan, a teacher with 50 years service to the school, and Norman W. Coates, school architect. The school will serve grades kindergarten through sixth. Occupancy is planned for Sept. 1968,,.
