Accident to Henry DickeyHenry Dickey, a worthy citizen of Harmony township, accidentally sank an ax into his foot while chopping wo 3d last week, almost cutting the second toe of the foot off. The blade also sank into his foot to the depth of two inches. The wound was dressed by Dr W. A. Thompson, who thought the big toe might be saved, but Mr. Dickey came to! have the toe cutoff, the operation I being performed by Dr. F. L. Mitchell. The injury is very severe and might prove veryserious. Mr. Dickey’s friendshowever, trust the injury willrapidly heal.
