Forman, Route 2, will be honored with an open house in their home from 2:30 to 5 p. m. today in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary.Members of the family will be hosts.Mr. and Mrs. Forman have two daughters, Mrs. Earl Lewis of Englewood, Colo., and Mrs. J. W. Jackson of Ropesville, and one son, Vernon Forman.The former Miss Pearl Mathews and Forman were married Sept 15. 1911, in Wichita Falls.Mr, and ley Counties before moving toAnton in 1932.Forman, who was bom in Indian territory and moved to the South Plains 61 years ago, is a retired farmer.Mr. and Mrs. Forman have six grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. They are members of the First Baptist Church.A gold centerpiece will accent the white lace cloth. Granddaughters will serve a Bibleshaped cake, assisted by Mrs. Vernon Forman.Guests will attend from Oklahoma, Wichita Falls, Olton, andThey lived in Clay and Hock-other South Plains towns.
