H, Whitman also went into the book store and office supply business in. 1926, and two years later, sold out his interest in the cigar store to George J. Schneider, When Ira Whitman died in 1935, C. H. purchased his brother's share in the store. Two years later he sold his book store to NormanHoyey of the Reliable Office Supply.When Schneider retired from the business 10 years ago, Whitman purchased his holdings and since that time has been sole owner of the store.Whitman, who live* at 829 Wallace ave SE, plans to retire.
