25 Years as LifeguardTommy Ortiz (second from left) was recently presented a desk set inscribed with congratulations for his 25 yeare’ service as a lifeguard at Landa Park. Now' an accountant at US Gypsum who works at the pool on w’eekends Ortiz began as a fulltime lifeguard when he wfas 14, and worked his way through high school and college Making the presentation is Aquatic Director Don Simon; at left is Parks and Recreation Director Buddy Surles Also showm are pool personnel Hank Seekatz (wearing suit) and Mark Serold. The presents and cake are for Seekatz, who was being honored for his recent marriage.
