Mulberry and Walnut streets will be one way south and South and Lincoln streets one wav north□ CD □ □ CD □ a CD a ODDAfter hearing explanations by three city officials, members of Vhe Wilmington Retail Merchants Group of the Business CouncilTuesday noon endorsed the oneway street plan of council for the city business district and approved it being put into effect at one time and as soon as possible. The group met at the General Denver Hotel.D. Robert C'onard, city engineer Herbert A Beins, chairman of the Street Committee, and C harles Kohler, president of council. attended the meeting to discuss the plan with the merchants, some of whom had expressed opposition to the plan or putting it into effect at one time.lt; onard said later Tuesday afternoon that he planned to take the map of the plan to Division Eight headquarters of the State Highway Department at Middletown Friday and to meet with William N. Joer-ger, traffic supervisor.After conferring with Joerger to learn the signs needed to put the plan into operation, the signs will be ordered and as soon as they are received and directions can be painted on the streets, the one-way program will be started.
