reporter. There may be others who willattend college._Sunday, Sept. 5, being a day set for Mr. Thoa. Marvel, hia children and grandchildren to meet. They all tookwell filled baskets and met at the Mar-*vel country home two and a half miles north ot Oynthiana. This has been a meeting that Mr. Marrel and his chil dren have observed on the first Sunday of September for Beveral years. Mr Marvel is not only called grandfather by his several grandchildren, but also by several great grandchildren. At the noon hour tue baskets were opened and spread on a table out under the treeB. Every one ate at once having a good time with many jokes and much laugh* ter, after which a very enjoyable afternoon was spent. Only three families were unable to attend. These were Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Calvert, of Clinton, Ind.; Nolan Calvert, of Evansville; and Mr. and Mrs Lawrence Huebner, of Holtvilie, Calif. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Chester Biecross, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Biecross and daughter, Mrs-Hattie Beasley, Mr. and Mrs; Eran Skinner and son, Mrs. Nolan Calvert and children, Billy and Zetty Ellen, Miss Dorothy Berridge, of Evansville, Mr. and Mri Thomas Peck, of Ingle-field, Mr. and Mrs. L. E, Marvel and family Mary, Baymond, Edward and Paul,Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Calvert and family Grace and Marvel, Maurice William, of Clinton; Plovd Martin, Mr. and Mrs. W. B, Eaton and son Harry Brenton, Mrs. Lon Eaton, Mrs. Berdie Shelton and children Van and Imogene, of Posey ville; Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Weldon, Mrs. Eliza Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Marvel and children, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Marvel, of Owensville;' Mr. and Mrs. John Stevens and children Dorothy and Kenneth, Mr. and Mrs.Thos. Marvel, Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Oal-*vert and daughter Sylvia, Mr. and Mrs. James Lowe and son, Nolan Montgomery, Mr. and Mrs. Enne Montgomery and family of Oynthiana.
