A continuous program of entertainment will also be offered. .Tickets sell for $1 for. adults and 50 cents for children. The holder is entitled to a meal, the entertainment and a chance at some special prizes. \AH proceeds from the event, will go toward the Monessen Public Library and Memorial Civic Cen,ter. With practically all of the’ food donated, the Chamber hopes to realize a ,'Substantial sum from the three-day eVent.Hit-run ReportLeslie Stark, 525 McCrea Ave., Donora, reported to police that a hit-run driver struck and damaged his station wagon while it was parked near Morgan Ave. and Schoonmaker Ave. last about 8:15. Vi.yeaMAKING PANCAKES — The' famed Aunt Jemima shows how pancakes should be flipped on the griddle as “cooks” J. Karl Beery, Edgar Shuster, Eino Kalvesmaki-and Mayor Hugo Parente looks on in the kitchen area at the Parking Plaza in Monessen. The Plaza is the scene of the current Pancake Days promotion, proceeds from which will go toward the city’s Public Library and Memorial Civic Center.
