MR. AND MRS. AMBROSE BAUER, 817 W Madison St., Durand, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 26. The couple will be honored with a 9 a.m. mass at St. Mary's and an open house from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary Parish, Lima. No cards have been sent. The reception is being hosted by their children: Mrs. Arnold (Loretta) Mixner, Arkansaw; Mrs. Harvey (Rosella) Bickering, Durand; Mrs. Myrtle Bauer, Eau Claire; Bernard A., Norbert B., Lambert (Ron) all of Durand; Mrs. Thomas (Lillian) Drier, Arkansaw; and Mrs. Ronald (Arlinda) Plummer,Eau Claire. The Bauers have 41 grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren.
