—-— %Reunion of tfa^ Pranks Family.la accordance with previous arrangements and plans the annual reunion of the Pranks family was held at the pleasant and hospitable residence of Thomas J.'Franks and wife, about three miles north of Albion in York township. Despite the fcorridity of the weather a large crowd was in attendance and all seemed to enjoy themselves hugely.A large table had been erected at the north side of the house and the penetrating rays of “Old Sol” were overcome by a canvass cover overspreading this festal board. Upon this table was spread an innumerable array of good things consisting of all kinds of meats, pies, cookies, cakes and other delicacies of the season, suited to satisfy the most exactingepieurian and the many in attendance did justice to this feast which was fit for a king. In the afternoon a large supply of delicious ice cream, watermelons and muskmelons were brought forth from their hiding places and disappeared as if by magic before the relentless attacks of those present. A short time after this mid afternoon feast, a snap shot of the crowd was taken by Photographer Harkless of Albion.In the interim between the arrival of the guests in the forenoon and dinner and their departure for their respective homes, the time was passed pleasantly in conversation, getting acquainted and listening to music fur nished by various ones present. It was one of the most successful and pleasant reunions ever held which is due 10 a large extent to the good-natured host, T, J. Franks, and his estimable wife.
