NEW INDUSTRYThe manufacture of carbon blacks bids fair to be one of West Virginia’s important industries as long as our gas supply holds out. Geo. H. Morrill Co., of Boston, one of the largest manufacturers of printer’s inks in the country, have decided to build a very large carbon factory of the latest type at Ciendenin, 25 miles from Charleston, on the Coal and Coke road, where they hold large leases of gds territory. O. L. Davis of West Union, is interested in this enterprise and he and his brother who now reside in Indiana, will superintend the construction of it.
