PHILLIPS COUPLE OF BERDAN NEAR 50111 ANNIVERSARYMr. and Mrs. Herman Phillips of Berdan will be celebrating their golden wedding anniversary Saturday, Sept. 6. On Sunday friends and relatives are invited to call at the White Hall American Legion Post from 1to 4 p.m.Children and their husbands and wives are hosting the re-mmm. ■. ;Herman Phillips and Laura Book were married Sept. t, 1919, at Carrollton and have I spent their entire married life in Berdan.! They are parents of six children: Everett, Truman andHoward Phillips, Mrs. Eula ; Voyles and Mrs. Rosemary jCamerer. One son, Herman, Jr., • died Sept. 6, 1947. There are 24 grandchildren and nine great ! grandchildren.Mrs. Phillips is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Book. Sr., and he is the son ; of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jay Phillips.
