Lane's rushing effort lor the PAT was good.In all, Carney completed seven of II passes for 52 yards and one touchdown, returned punts for 44 and 37 yards and another touchdown, and scored a third time on his 80-yard run.Central got on the scoreboard in the last four minutes of the game, when a blocked Thomasville punt was touched bv a Thomasville player before rolling out of the end zone, for a safety.Even in defeat, Central had some impressive performances.
