Charlotte Powell, pianist, played the wedding music and Wellons Stowe - sang “0 Promise Me” and “The Wedding Prayer,”Given in marriage by her .father, the bride wore a gown, of white satin and Chantilly iscc, fashioned with Empire, V-neck bodice trimmed with pearl buttons. Long sleeves with lace trim, a full-skirt, with lace appliques and matching lace train extending from waistline to the floor completed the design. Her matching waist-length mantilla was held by a small pillbox made of layers of silk illusion. She carried a white Bible with white roses and satin-streamers.Mrs. Barbara Simmons' Was matron of honor for her sister. Mrs. Joan Barber, sister of the bride, and Bliss Tina Moore,Miss Creamer is a graduate of St. Gertrude’s Girls School in Richmond and is employed by the Division of Motor Vehicles.BIr.
