The occasion was the Walker * golden wodding anniversary.Mr. Walker and the former Zola McCaw were married at the Methodist parsonage at Algona, Iowa, August 28, 1907. The following February they moved to Wapello county, living near Blad-•nsburg. They have been Wapello county reaidents since that time Attending with their neighbors *#fcr# three of their five children ofOttumwa. Harley Walker and family, Paul Walker and family and Mrs. George Oatman and family. Their eldest son Lawrence andhis wife of Memphis. Tenn. and Mis. Arnold King and her family ©f Avoca, Iowa, were unable toattend.Gifts were presented to the Walkera by their children and by | their neighbors. t
