If you have any news items phone Marian 734-4840.OtherOn July 25 the Harris family of Bowsman held a triple function day.Firstly in the a.m. the interment of the ashes of Jean Francis (Harris) Stevens took place at the Bowsman Cemetery with all of her seven children present. They were Brian and Donavan of Winnipeg, Debbie of Shoal Lake, MB, Brenda ofLloydminster, Pearl and Tracy of Edmonton and Terry of Lethbridge.Secondly was the displaying of the sign at the Harris farmstead which was designed andconstructed by Allen Harris. It may be noted that there were four generations at this function. They were, George Harris; son Allen, his daughter Michelle Clements and her daughter Kiera. Allen and his wife Corrine reside at the farmstead at this time.Thirdly was the celebration of the 55th year of marriage of George and Viola Hanis (Johnston), the actual anniversary is in November, with a potluck supper sponsored by Corrine and Allen and the rest of the family. Many relatives, friends and neighbours were present for this function.It must be noted here that there were four sets of twins present for this occasion.
