The serving table was covered with gold nyku net over a white tablecloth and centered with a three-tier aoaimsary cake. The cake, which vis topped with a gold color “50” was decorated with gold and white fronting, accented with fresh flowers. The cake was flanked by matching gold candelabra with 12 gold color candles in floral arrangements. Floral arrangements from friends and relatives were used to decorate the seating tables and the guest book table. The guest book table abo contained a family bulletin board, including the couple's wedding picture and pictures of 'various events through the years, and ofl paintings of the couple's farm bouse, painted by Mrs. Gal Louden as a gift to the couple.Serving at the reception table were tbe honored couple's daughter, Mol Don (Elaine) McDermed; their two daughters-in-law, Mrs. Warren Clark and Mel Allan Gaik; and their granddaughters, Mrs. John (Mary to Clark) Gardner, Valerie Clark and Diana McDermed. Guest book attendants were grand daughters, iinda Me Denned, Shelley Clark and Jenni dark. Easfcdde I*de Grangers assisted with the serving.The honored couple was married Aug. 22, 1924, in Kalvpeh and have lived in theCratoo area near Lake Btaiae dooe that tame. Both have been active In Eastaide Grange and community amice work.They are parents of three ehfldrtn — Allan Clark of Katepet, Warren dark of San Jose, Calif.; and Elaine McDermed of Pebble Beach, Calif. Don Olson of Missoula, and Mr. and Mrs. Webb OlLphant of Tacoma.The honored couple hosted the children at a family dinner at the Red Uon Supper Club after the reception. After the dinner, “Grandpa” Clark explained to the children present how he courted“Graia” in a Modei-T andFerrictold of their honeymoon trip to Spokane in th.e same automobile.
