Wilkinson, the librarian, it was a very significant day. It was that last time that she would enter the doors and prepare for the coming book-lovers who would stroll in, wonder leisurely through the aisles, and choosing one-or perhaps two—of the books on the shelves, carry them to her desk to be checked out.No one but Miss Wilkinson will jever know exactly how she felt j 1945, she took over as librarian—yesterday as she went about her at the Bristol Free Library.... iduties, moving not so quickly asshe once did. and finally turning.
