GOLDEN WEDDINGAn unusually pleasant affair was the celebration of the fiftieth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Buvk of BonnhiKton township in their comfortable home, surrounded ly lliuir children, grandchildren and a number of relatives and friends who had'planned this event as i\ comple'e surprise to the parents.Few people are granted the blessing of celebrating their golden wedding anniversary, but this worthy couple plighted their vows for better or for worse before the aliar at Freeport. lib. Aug. 2lt;J, 185S, and liavc faithfully lived up to the vows taken by them.Eight children woro born to them, all of whom are living and wore present Saturday. They were Julia, Charles. Henry^ George and Andrew, Mrs. Anna Dork, Mrs, Clara Buhr and Mrs. Lizzie Smith of this city and Bennington township.Tho dinner and supper prepared for this occasion was a sumptuous one. cut flowers adorned the parlors. A set of gold band dishes was given them by the children who took pleasure in wishing them many more years of happy wedded Ufa. Many from thfs cily were present sit tho luippy occasion,*1* * *
