Wright, Impostor.Eight years ago tomorrow Mrs. Albert Lawrence 0. Wright, formerly Miss Lora Leonhardt, society reporter on the Brazil DailyTimes,, disappeared at Indianapolis. No word from her has ever been heard, but her mother, now approaching old age, has never been convinced that her daughteris dead and hopes that some day-some one, or Lora, bherself will send some word. Many others believe that the little woman has met foul play in the hands of her husband.Miss Leonhardt was a reporter at the Times office when Wright came to the city as a freelance salesman for Moon automobiles and Apperson cars. Miss Leonhardt met Wright, first in a professional way. Wright pressed his attentions on Miss Leonhardt, who at first spurned them. Wright stayed around Brazil weeks after he had completed his business here and wooed the Harmony girl vigorously winning her consent to marriage. They were married at Terre Haute and lived for a few months at Fort Wayne. Their married life in that place was apparently happy. Mrs. Wright visited her parents and told her friends that she was entrusted with the funds that they hadsaved money. She was well dressed and to all appearances welltaken care of.On Nov. 1, 1(12 3 Mrs. Wright culled her family from Indianapolis stating that she and herhusband were leaving that night on a trip. That is the last word ever heard from her although Brazil police and former Sheriff John Anderson worked hard to get some clue and thousands of police circulars were sent out.Although Wright remains a man of mystery enough was foundout about him to learn that ho was an impostor and bigamist. He claimed to he a graduate of Johns Hopkins University: veteran of the World War with the Canadian army and was a Shriller. It was found out. that he was not a graduate of Johns Hopkinsnor was he a member of the Sh rine.At the time of her disappearance Mrs. Wright was 30 yearsof age; slight stature, weighingabout 100 pounds and 5 feet 2inches tall. She were her light colored hair bobbed at tlie time. Mrs. Wright had worked as a reporter and a nurse. She was a favorite with children and might he found working as a governess. She was a smart and snappy girland may have learned more than Wright wanted her to know.Although numerous rumors were heaFd no one who ever knew the former Miss Leonhardt couldever give the parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Leonhardt, any word concerning her. Police believe (hat the young woman was disposed of by Wright.
