To Dedicate NewChurch at Lakota.Lakota, October 30. Special:— The Lakota Presbyterian church ii I planning to dedicate their new church building Sunday, November 4th. Rev. J. J. Johnson of St. Louis will preach the dedication sermon Sunday mom-j mg. This is also the fiftieth anniversary of the church. Rev. H. DcBeor of Philedelphia will speak Sunday afternoon. There will be seven former : paators of the Lakota church to take part in the program. They are F. D. Arenda, A. J. Kamman, A. C. Kruse, T. R Cordry, H. A. tfossack and J. J. Johnson. The new church is capable of holding nine hundred people, five hundred in the main auditorium and four hundred in the basement. X*ry interesting , and profitable ser-vUaa are to be held. Special muelc vgll be rendered by the vested choir. Wner will be served to the public by the Udts' Aid on Monday and Tuesday noon and lunches will bo served both days at five-thirty o’clock. A basket dinner will be enjoyed on Sunday, so people can stay ffir the afternoon meeting. A large number will be locsiyed into active membership of the church and the sacrament of baptism will be administered to manv babies and children. The church is a flno brick buliding. one unique fca-I Jure of It being the pastors den. which Ihw a beautiful cobblestone fireplace, hullt by the present pastor. Rev. O. H £rerking. The cobblestones used ,U» build the fireplace were brought | by the members and friend* of the .church, found in perhaps every state of the union. Lakota Presbyterians may well be proud of their fine church and rplendid organisation. The pub-lic is cordially iuvited to attend any or all of the meetings. Come earlv and stay late.
