All unique and pretty anniversary , party was the one given cn Tuesday evening by Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. Wright in celebrating the close of ten. years of wedded life. A number of intimate friends were present. Although the decorative scheme carried out the idea of a Hallowe’en party the fact of its being a “tin wedding1' had not been lost sight of and Mrs. Wright had cleverly arranged a number of things to indicate that particular event in married life. For instance the prizes in a pedro game were small pumpkin pies baked in tin plates with another plate covering- the pie and the whole wrapped in tissue paper. The score cards for the game were drawings on tin spoons by Mrs. Wright’s sister, Mrs. Willey. The spoons had been dressed as boys or girls and the players matched them for partners in playing. Punch for refreshment was served from a jar hidden in a hollowed pumpkin and' 1 cups for drinking were also of tin. ] At supper there were other suggestions of the anniversary. The wedding cake had a decoration of miniature figures imitating a bride and groom. The table was decorated with vines and foiiage. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bond, Mr. and Mrs. Alex White, Mr. and Mrs. Arle-mus Pickard. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Keegan, Mr. and Mrs. John Dougall, Mr. and Mrs. Will Noll, Mrs. Frances Willey and daughter, Frances and son, George.
