He is with the Associated Press in Dallas—home address 5430 BoazStreet.“The first few weeks,” says he, “the kids compared everything in Dallas unfavorably, for instance the Dallas water did not taste good; but they are fast becomingDallasites.”For years he has been on thereceiving end of the AP news; now he is on the sending end. He attended the AP Managing Editors meeting in Fort Worth and says, “There I saw Harry Provence who, from all reports, is doing a fine job in his new position down at Waco.”Susan, 8, misses her “old” friends: Susan Bailey, Katherine Preston, Rob Brooks, and others, in Miss Lipscomb’s second grade class at TSCW Lab. School. She is m the third grade at the Longfellow school.This OC will always have a warm spot in his heart for Ray Holbrook; for it was he who taught me how to write an acceptable newspaper column.
