At noon a four-course dinner was served under the direction of Mrs. E. F. Taylor, assisted by Mrs. Wilbur Kelly. Covers were laid for forty-four at prettily decorated tables, yellow candles shedding’ a soft glow oyer the happy scene. The center pieces were two elegant wedding cakes. The favors were small yellow baskets. After dinner a number of cards and telegrams were read from friends and relatives who could not be present.During the afternoon between the hours of three and five nearly a hundred friends called to extend congratulations to the bride and groom of fifty years ago. They received a number of nice presents and flowers.Tim friends of this estimable couple all join in wishing them many more years of happiness together.The following were present from out of town:E.
