GRIZZLY FLAT MANMAY LOSE LICENSEThat the liquor sales license issued to Lawrence Pieronf, at Grizzly Hat, may be revoked in view of his recent conviction of liquor sales on school property, was indicated at a hearing Wednesday morning before E. A. McDonald, referee for the State Board ofEqualization,At the hearing, held in the Supervisors’ rooms at the courthouse, revocation of Pieroni’s license was recommended by William A. Smith, chief enforcement officer under the state liquor control act, in this district.The referee took the case under advisement and will report to the Board of Equalization his findings.Pieroni was arrested by Sheriff George M. Smith and J. W. Caswell, state liquor inspector for this district, and was convicted before Justice of the Peace T. F. Lewis on charges of selling liquor on the grounds of the Willow school.The license continues in effect until decision in the case is announced by the Board of Equalization.
