It had been intended to have many friends with them today, but the health ban interfered and onlvthe children'and their families are presentAll will be there for euppe? and all will spend the night there, the first tlme% all this large family of elevenchildren have spent a night under fhe same roof, since some were mar-ried and gone before the youngerchildren were born. it Is doubtful ? a family in the state can duplicate the record of this family for size and heaJthfulnees, not a death ever having occurred in the immediate family and all being in the best of health at this rime.Aaron Trippet and Miss Susan Robb, eldest daughter of David Robb, were married October 29, 1858, at the Robb homestead, southeast of Hazleton, the. first frame house in Gibson county, now owned by Mrs. Nathaniel Hitch,*1 sister of Mrs. Trippet. The fifty vears of their married life have been spent within a quarter of a mile of where Mrs Trippet was born To-themeleven children have been born.*These children, who gathered wjth the narents today for this happy occasion,are:Ivia Trippet. Bartlesville, Okla.*, Mrs. Dora Cassidy, widow of W. G. Cassidy. Hazleton; David R. Trippet, Memphis, Tenn.; Sanford K. Trippet, ^rinceton: Mrs. Lillie Morrison, wife of A. R Morrison, Washington township; Mrs. Stella Harris, wife of Wal-■nce Harris. Patoka: Aaron Trippet. Tr., residing with his parents; Finis Trippet Hazleton: Miss FlorenceTrippet, with her parents; Mrs. May Weitzel. wife of Earl Weitzel, Hazleton: Miss Eunice Trippet, at home.There are also fifteen grandchildren and two great-grand-children. Three of the grandchildren are in the service of their country, one of wriiom, Hersch-lt;?1 Trippet, son of Ivia Trippet, is in France and had been “over the top’ ‘wice at the last word from him. He sent to his grand parents some war souviners from France for the anniversary.Mr. Trippet Ir 74 ears old and Mrs. Trippet is 73 years of age, anA ’mfh are enjoying the best of healthand looking forward to years morehappy life together.Their innumerable friends through-nit Gibson county and elsewhere ex* rend their congratulations on this Golden Anniversary, and hope thatJ| their years may continue to be golden ones for them and theirs.
