An Ecclesiastical Cake Walk*The nvinters of the Main Street Baptist church, Farther Light -s circle, are preparing for a rare entertainment, given by church people. The affair will be a cake walk. Members c.f the circle will be dressed and painted to represent- darkies, and their man: partners mn«t be likewico, in ordi_r not to be recognized. Tickets represent slices of watermelon. On the back of the slice is printed; “Cake walk on the old plantation. All the darkies will be there.” The programme will consist of recitations and vocal selections.
