Mildred Smith, 93Mildred Smith. 93 a former resident of Whitefish. died Wednesday in Bothell. Wash She was born May 16. 1886 in Fullerton Neb . a daughter of Samuel and Nattie Rutherford She received her education in Nebraska In 1907 she married Thomas G Smith in Arcadia. Neb The\ homesteaded in eastern Montana several vears In 1923 they moved to Whitefish where Mr Smith worked for the Great Northern Railroad. In 1949thev moved to Rvderwood, Wash*■ . •*Mr Smith preceded her in death in 1960 inRvderwoodi- vShe returned to Whitefish and lived in the Mountain View Manor Since 1973 she has resided in Bothell.WashShe also was preceded in death by on? daughter. Freda Cook, in 1938Mrs Smith now is survived by two sons. Ward of Gresham Ore . and Milford E of Newman Lake Wash one daughter Mrs Clarence (Florence) Sperling of Woodinville. Wash seven grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews including Lyle Rutherford of WhitefishServices will be conducted from the Austin Chapel Monday at 1 p m with the Rev Paul Taylor of Christ Episcopal Church of Kalispell officiating Burial will be made in Whitefish Cemetery
