Couple Wed 25 Yea rsRelatives, friends and neighbors gathered at the Community Hall in Pine Flat (Green Twp.) to honor Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Peel of Cherry Tree RD 2 on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary.Approximately 100 guests attended the luncheon on Sunday, Oct. 15, where Mr. and Mrs. Peel received many useful and beautiful gifts.Mrs. Peel, the former Alice Jean Repine, and Charles Peel were united in marriage by the Rev. W, E. Shaffer on Oct. 12, 1947, at the home of the bride's parents.They are the parents ofCharles E. of Sykesville, JohnL. of Hillsdale and Thomas of Indiana. Two grandchildren complete the family circle.
