'Christmas Cards for Gl's In Vietnam'“Christmas cards for Vietnam” sounds almost out of place when it’s a lovely fall day in Kansas. But, in order to insure their arrival by Christmas, it is time now to start thinking about getting cards and packages in the mail.Some time ago The DailyNews printed an article about the USO which listed the things men in service wanted for Christmas, and one of the wishes was for “lots and lots of Christmas cards.”In order to make this possible, the News asked for the names and addresses of men and women from Sumner County who are serving in Vietnam.
