John F. Swartz Feted by FriendsApproximately 200 friends, relatives and neighbors gathered Sunday at the Wood Rd. State Graded School to|t^fr! John F. Swart)! of Somers on his 90th birthday, jSon of pioneer settler* Mr. and Mrs. John Jacob Swartz, Mr. Swartz was born Oct. 29, 1867, on the farm where he still lives. He hat established a fruit nursery and has made a specialty of strawberries. IHis three sons are Glenn and Harold, who live on the Swartz homestead, and Roy, Fox River.1 He has two daughters, Mr«. Guy Morgan and Miss Loretta Swartz, also at home. There are eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
