Sill of Rantoul, 111.The couple, who have lived in Richardson at 905 Melrose Dr. since 1965, were married Oct. 29, 1921 in Durant, Okla. Prior to coming to Richardson, the Goodings lived in Dayton, Ohio where Mr. Gooding was with the Defense Contract Administration Services. He retired in 1968 after 30 years of service with the federal government.Mr. and Mrs. Charles HolmesGooding will be honored at anopen house Saturday afternoonby their children in celebrationof their 50th wedding anniversary.The open house will be held at the home of their son F. M. Gooding, 709 Thompson Dr. Other hosts will be C. H. Gooding, Jr. of Fort Worth and Mrs.
