COMBINATION ANNIVERSARYProbably one of the most enjoy-ble affairs that has taken place lately was held at the beautiful country home of Mr. and Mrs. Nelse Evans on Upper Tygart, Sunday, October 16th, at which time they celebrated birthday and wedding anniversariesof the family. The birthday of Nelse Evans and son, Nelse, Jr., the wedding aninversary of Mr. and Mrs. Nelse Evans and their 'son John Evans to Miss Myrtle Fitch werecelebrated.A large crowd gathered to enjoy the occasion and music was furnished by Misses Ada and Bessie Sloan and Luther Master of Portsmouth. A real day of enjoyment and meeting and mingling with good friends was enjoyed by the following:Mr. Ralph Evans and children. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Evans and children, Mrs. John Evans, George Evans, Coburn Evans, Nelson Evans, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Ed Jones and children, Mr. and Mrs. John Evans and children, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Fitch and children, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Evans and children, Edith McDonald, Flora ami Emmett Blonton, John Evans, Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Evans and two children, Ada and Elmer Mr. and Mrs. P. R. Driscoll and tfvo children, Paul Ronald and Nixola, of Upper Tygart, two Bowling sisters and brother, of Haldeman, Mr. and Mrs.* A. Sloan and two daughters Ada and Bessie, of Fitch, -Mr. Luther Masters of Portsmouth, Ohio, and many others whose names could not be learned.
