Wood and children, Lorene and Geraldine of Brookfield, Mr. and Mrs. B. D. Creason and children, Aleda, Maxine, Truman and Doris of Brookfield, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Creason and son, Nolan, Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Schrock and children, Frances and Eugene, Mr, and Mrs. C. T. McNeiley of St, Catherine, Mr,birthday and Saturday, Oct. 22nd and Mrs. W. B. Calhoun of Mead-ville, Mrs. A. H. Franklin,Eva Johnson,was T. M. Kimbrough’s fifty-seventh birthday, Mrs. R. I. Fuller assisted by Mrs. Kimbrough and Mrs. A. B. Clark decided to give them a surprise at the old Johnson homestead where Mrs. Johnson has resided for fifty-four years. At the noon hour when the guests were called into the dining room to partake of the appetizing dinner which looked so tempting, all eyes turned to the lovely angel-food cake adorned with sixty-nine lighted candles. The cake was baked by Misses Evelyn Hooker, Ida Mc-Quown and Leona Kimbrough, n 1 Every one ate to, their hearts e I content of the good things which had been prepared for the occasion.
