Some of the most .•erfcrt mounds ever seen ia this viciuity appear near Kilbonrn. Near the railroad trarks four miles toward Purtage, on an elevation, are several round moutub which might be taken for ordiuary small Mils were there not distinct marks which tell that they were made by the hands of man. Directly back of these mounds are two animal mounds which show the outline of aa animat perfectly. The four feet, neck, head, and ears make the figure almost perfect and the twu mounds, which are oulv a few' feet apart, are identically the same.
