MR AND MRS. ROE HERRICK, SREtna Pioneer Couple Observe Golden Wedding Anniversary with Informal Party at HomeAn Etna pioneer couple, Mr. and Mrs. Roe Herrick. Sr., observed their golden wedding anniversary, the 50th year ot their married life together, on Wednesday, Oct. 18. In honor of the occasion members of their family, 28 in all, met at the family home in Etna for a social and informal get-together Sunday, Oct. 22.Both Mr. and Mrs. Herrick are enjoying fairly good health, and on their anniversary, as on many of their past anniversaries, they went elk hunting. Mrs. Herrick, who will be 72 in January, was once again successful in killing her own elk, a cow, on Oct. 18, on Greys River. Mr. Herrick will be 74 on Dec. 16.They were married Oct. 18, 1911 at Paris, Idaho, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.The Herricks have lived on their ranch in Etna nearly all their married life. The past few winters they have resided in Boise, Idaho.They have two sons, Roe Herrick, Jr., Afton. and Elwin Herrick, Boise, Idaho; and two daughters, Mrs. Hans (Lois) Baker, Benson, Utah, and Mrs. Albert (Eva) Bartel, Boise, Idaho. They also have numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.i
