In honor of the 40th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Severt Som-mervold, approximately 250 friends and relatives called at their home on Sunday afternoon and evening to extend congratulations and best wishes to them. The lace covered table was centered with cut flowers of red roses and white asters and lighted red taper,s. Hostesses for the occasion were their daughter's, Mrs. 'Newton Wevik, Mrs. Marvid Stoen and Mrs. Judin Solbue, and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Marvin Sommervold, who served a tasty tray lunch, assisted by Mrs. Elmer Klemme, Mrs. Adolph Eggen, Mrs. Roy Abraham, Mrs. Martin Som-mervold, Shirley Abraham and Barbara Sommervold. Their granddaughter, Beverly Wevik, had charge of the guest book. The honored couple received money, other gifts and cards. Mrs. Sommervold wore a corsage of red roses and Mr. Sommervold a red carnation boutonniere.
